SPEED CONCEPTS RACING READY TO ATTACK ROK THE RIO IN LAS VEGAS

Making the long cross-country trek from central Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada, Speed Concepts Racing will bring a small but mighty driver lineup to Sin City. Set to take on the temporary layout of the ROK Cup USA ROK the RIO at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, four talented Redspeed branded drivers will put an exclamation mark on the unofficial end to the 2020 karting season.

“It is our smallest lineup of drivers in quite some time but there are many positives heading to Las Vegas with only four,” explained Mike Speed. “We will be able to spend more time with each driver, additional one-on-one coaching and provide more attention to the overall goal of winning. We have a good chance to leave Las Vegas with both Senior ROK and Junior ROK Championships.”

Luca Mars and Luke Lange will lead the Speed Concepts Racing quartet into Las Vegas throwing their hats in the mix in Senior ROK. Frontrunners in the senior ranks whenever they hit the track, Mars is a multi-time race winner and was at the front of the Junior ROK the RIO grid in 2019. Lange, who returned to karting full time mid-season, has shown consistent and forward progress in the senior ranks. With temporary circuits his forte over the past few seasons, Lange should be able to challenge the front of the grid in Las Vegas.

With two drivers in senior, two more will enter Junior ROK as 2020 race winner Jack Jeffers will be joined by Canadian National Champion Ayden Ingratta. Jeffers has been one of the junior drivers to beat in 2020 and will enter Las Vegas with winning as his goal. A frontrunner throughout 2020, Jeffers will aim to end his year on top in Las Vegas. While COVID-19 took its toll on Ingratta’s participation with the Speed Concepts Racing program in 2020, the Canadian is back and ready to race. Competing for the majority of the season north of the border, Ingratta claimed podiums and victories, including at the Canadian National Karting Championship.

Speed added, “Unofficially, this will be the end of our 2020 karting season. Our primary focus is to stand atop the podium in Las Vegas but following the event, we will shift our focus to the popular winter karting programs in Florida.”

With practice beginning on Wednesday, November 4th and ROK the RIO Champions being crowned on Sunday, November 8th, be sure to follow Speed Concepts Racing social media platforms throughout the event to keep up to date.
