JASON BELL HEADS NORTH OF THE BORDER TO CANADIAN TIRE MOTORSPORTS PARK

The next event on the Jason Bell Racing schedule will take the green flag this weekend as he and his GMG Racing team will travel north of the border to Canada to compete at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP) in Bowmanville, Ontario. Taking place over the May 17-19 weekend, Bell will compete in the Pirelli GT4 America Sprint division and be behind the wheel of his unmistakable black and gold Porsche.

“It is a jam packed weekend of competition in Canada, so track time is limited for us,” explained Jason Bell. “Competitors with track knowledge will have a little bit of an advantage so we should be ok, but we will also be on the CTMP circuit for the first time ever with our new Porsche Cayman.”

Piloting his number #2 Porsche Cayman, Bell hopes to turn his racing luck around in 2019. Consistently inside the top-ten and scoring one podium result to date this year, the Tampa Bay, Florida resident has his goals set high in Canada.

Bell added, “I am hoping a lot of the bad luck has now cycled through the system and that the only luck we have in Canada is some good luck. A big thanks to the GMG Racing guys for all of their hard work and continued support as we push forward in 2019.”

Pirelli GT4 America competitors will have one thirty-minute session on Thursday evening to shake down their racecars before a one-hour official practice session on Friday morning. GT4 America Sprint drivers will need to get up to pace early in the hour-long session before qualifying takes place that afternoon. Race one will take the green flag Saturday morning while race two will commence Sunday afternoon.
