CHRISTIAN BIRD MOTORSPORTS SET FOR ROK FEST IN AMARILLO, TEXAS

As one of the leading karting programs in the state of Colorado, the growing Christian Bird Motorsports (CBM) program is set to travel to Amarillo, Texas for the final round of the 2019 ROK Cup USA ROK Fest. Taking place at the Amarillo Kart Circuit this coming weekend, five CBM branded drivers will compete in the Vortex ROK series aboard the potent FA Kart produced by Italian manufacturer OTK.

“We will be entering five drivers in Amarillo as we build up towards an expansion in our program with even greater participation at the ROK The RIO event later this year,” explained Christian Bird. “Our program has grown significantly in the past calendar year, and our results on the regional level have been great. It is now time to take a few of our drivers to the national scene to gain even more experience. Never know what 2020 will bring.”

With five drivers flying the Christian Bird Motorsports colors in Texas, four of them will enter the ROK Junior class including team newcomer Macy Williams. Inking a deal with Christian Bird, Williams will pilot a brand new 2019 FA Kart with big plans for the future, including a trip to the ROK the RIO event later this year.

Bird continued, “Macy was with us in the past but switched brands and teams for a short time. We are welcoming her back to the family with open arms and look forward to challenging at the front of the field.”

Joining Williams in the ROK Junior class will be multi-time 2019 race winner Liam Letzsch, Deanna Hoffman and Dave Williams. Gage Korn will enter the Mini ROK category as he travels to the Amarillo Kart track for the very first time.

Bird added, “We have attainable goals set for Amarillo and will be working hard to achieve them. We have all heard great things about the ROK Cup USA promoted events and are looking forward to both Texas and Las Vegas later this year.”’
