The ROK Cup Sim Challenge is a virtual race series that will provide an opportunity for drivers from all over North America to compete against one another virtually. The ROK Cup Sim Challenge is owned and operated by RTD Media & Management and will exclusively offer select ROK Cup USA classes, with a few additional divisions to equal the playing field. In a partnership with Torque eSports and ROK Cup USA, the ROK Cup Sim Challenge will feature three race events that include a single qualifying session, prefinal and main event within a one-hour period, three times a week. Each race event will award points towards a series ending championship.
Set to commence and go green with three events running the week of April 20-26, entry fee for the series will be an affordable $500. Running a full complement of ROK Cup USA classes, ten divisions will be on the grid ranging from Micro ROK to ROK Shifter awarding nearly $60,000 in prize money. All classes will be capped at 24 drivers and the plan is to run a bi-weekly series program.
ROK Cup Sim Challenge Rules & Regulations will follow ROK Cup USA Rules & Regulations, and the same penalties will apply. Actions that not allowed in a real-life race will not be allowed in the ROK Cup Sim Challenge.
